The Ukrainian national football team suffered a defeat against Denmark in a friendly match held in Odense, Denmark. The game was ended early in the second half following an incident involving the Danish team's captain Christian Eriksen, who required urgent medical assistance.

The match took place at the Odense Isstadion. The hosts opened the scoring as early as the 13th minute thanks to a goal by Patrick Dorgu. In the 36th minute, Denmark's lead was extended by Joakim Mæhle.

At the end of the first half, the Ukrainian team reduced the deficit. After a pass from Roman Yaremchuk and a deflection, the ball ended up in the Danish goal — the goal scorer was Viktor Tsihankov.

In the second half, the teams continued to compete, but the match was interrupted after Christian Eriksen fell ill on the field. According to available information, the player clutched his chest and collapsed on the pitch. Medics promptly provided assistance, after which the player was hospitalized.

Following the incident, the referee decided not to resume the game. The match was ended early, and the score of 2:1 in favor of Denmark was recorded as the final result.

Thus, the Ukrainian national team lost to Denmark 1:2 in a friendly match that could not be completed due to an emergency on the football field.
