A month ago, work resumed in Ukraine on an important infrastructure project that had been suspended back in 2020. This was reported by the Ministry of Communities and Territories Development.

The total length of the future bypass road is 22 kilometers.

After construction is completed, transit traffic is planned to be completely diverted outside the city. This will reduce the load on Zhytomyr's street network, improve road safety, shorten transportation times, and enhance logistics processes for businesses and the community.

The Zhytomyr bypass is considered one of the key elements in developing transport infrastructure and strengthening interregional connections. Despite martial law conditions, the state continues to implement strategic infrastructure projects aimed at economic development and the country's recovery.
