They want to postpone the digitization of employment records until the end of martial law
In Ukraine, it is proposed to extend the transitional period for digitizing employment records and submitting their scanned copies to the Pension Fund until the end of martial law and for six months after its cancellation.
An appropriate petition has been registered on the website of the Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine. The author of the appeal asks to extend the validity of the Law of Ukraine No. 1217-IX "On Amendments to Certain Legislative Acts of Ukraine Regarding the Accounting of Employee Labor Activity in Electronic Form" concerning the transitional period deadlines for scanning and submitting employment records.
Among the reasons for this proposal No. 41/010019-26ep is the imperfection of the software of the Pension Fund of Ukraine. In particular, according to the author, users were not provided with proper explanations regarding the submission of all documents in one application, which causes difficulties in submitting subsequent documents before the previous ones are processed.
The petition also states that the Pension Fund does not always manage to process the submitted scanned copies of documents within the specified deadlines, and a significant number of employees are abroad and cannot provide documents for scanning.
Furthermore, the author of the appeal notes that many enterprises and citizens do not manage to submit the necessary scanned copies due to the need to make additional entries or correct information and stamps in employment records to avoid rejection of documents during the Pension Fund's verification.
