In Kyiv, a significant difference in wage levels between districts continues to persist. In some parts of the capital, the average salary already exceeds 57 thousand hryvnias, while in others it remains at just over 31 thousand hryvnias.
Updated statistical data for the first quarter of 2026, obtained by the "Judicial and Legal Newspaper", indicate that the gap between districts is over 26 thousand hryvnias, with business and administrative centers of the city remaining the leaders in earnings.

The average monthly nominal salary of a full-time employee of enterprises, institutions, and organizations in Kyiv in Q1 2026 was 46,307 UAH.

Which district of Kyiv has the highest salaries
The highest average monthly salary was recorded in the Podilskyi district — 57,553 UAH per full-time employee.
Districts with the highest indicators also included:
- Holosiivskyi district — 54,828 UAH;
- Pecherskyi district — 52,110 UAH;
- Shevchenkivskyi district — 46,066 UAH.
All these districts exceeded or approached the city average.

The lowest average monthly salary among the capital's districts was recorded in the Desnianskyi district — 31,230 UAH.
Salaries below the city average were also recorded in:
- Dniprovskyi district — 36,760 UAH;
- Darnytskyi district — 37,440 UAH;
