The Ministry of Justice of Ukraine reported on common investment fraud schemes and explained how to recognize fake platforms and avoid losing money. These involve offers of quick earnings with “guaranteed profit,” passive income in a few days, or services of a “personal financial analyst.” Such promises often mark the beginning of fraudulent schemes.

Scammers create fake investment platforms that may look like real crypto exchanges, brokerage services, or investment funds. These resources usually feature professional design, a personal user account, charts supposedly showing profit growth, online support functions, and a “manager” who accompanies the investments.

At the same time, the ministry emphasizes that real investment operations on such platforms are practically not conducted.

Key warning signs for users include promises of “guaranteed” profits at 1-3% daily, lack of licenses or official company information, demands to transfer funds to individuals’ cards, and pressure urging immediate investment.

Special attention is drawn to offers to recruit others, demands to pay “taxes,” “commissions,” or undergo “verification” to withdraw funds, as well as requests to install remote access programs on devices.
