Oksen Lisovyi commented on rumors about his resignation as head of the Ministry of Education and Science
The Minister of Education and Science Oksen Lisovyi stated that he has not received any information regarding a possible dismissal from his position and has not had any related conversations about it.
He informed journalists about this while commenting on information spreading in the media and social networks.
“I do not know about any resolution regarding my dismissal, there have been no conversations with me about this. I just spoke with the Prime Minister. I know nothing about a resolution on my dismissal,” said Lisovyi.
The day before, a Member of Parliament stated that an unknown personnel issue was placed on the agenda for June 9. In particular, he noted that the relevant committee indicated the Verkhovna Rada Committee on Education.
At the same time, the deputy noted that the only position for which this Committee can bring personnel decisions to a parliamentary vote is the position of Minister of Education. In this context, he added that there have been rumors about Lisovyi's resignation, including during the last plenary week.
