Zelenskyy announced progress in negotiations on Ukraine's accession to the EU
President Volodymyr Zelenskyy reported positive dynamics in the negotiations on Ukraine's accession to the European Union and expressed hope for the start of fund disbursement from the European support package in the near future. He also noted that Ukraine maintains constant dialogue with international partners to accelerate the process of European integration.
The President stated that Ukraine expects to receive financing within the agreed European Union support package of 90 billion euros as early as June.
According to him, the government is actively working to complete all necessary procedures as soon as possible so that the funds begin to flow and be used for defense needs, ensuring the state's resilience, and supporting citizens.
“We are actively working with the government so that Ukraine receives funds from the European support package of 90 billion euros in June. We fought for this package, it has been approved, and procedurally it is necessary that already now, in the summer, the funds start working for Ukraine – for our resilience, for our defense, for helping our people – Ukrainians. And it will be so,” said Volodymyr Zelenskyy.
