The Verkhovna Rada extended the work of the Temporary Special Commission on the Protection of Investors' Rights for another year and approved its report on the results of its activities. The decision was supported by 286 members of parliament.

The parliament notes that since the commission began its work in 2020, it has managed to resolve a number of problematic investment cases and unblock the implementation of projects worth over 25 billion UAH.

One of the most notable results of the commission's work this year is called the fight against rose smuggling.

According to the TSC, after the measures taken, the volume of rose imports officially declared upon entry into Ukraine has significantly increased. Accordingly, revenues from customs duties and taxes have also increased.

The commission claims that over the past six months, the state budget has been receiving about 15 million UAH more monthly thanks to the legalization of imports of this product.
