Volodymyr Zelenskyy will Discuss Strengthening Support for Ukraine with Leaders of Britain, France, and Germany
President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelenskyy has arrived in the United Kingdom, where he will hold bilateral talks with Prime Minister Keir Starmer, and also participate in an E3+Ukraine format meeting with the President of France Emmanuel Macron and the Chancellor of Germany Friedrich Merz.
According to the Head of State, the teams have already completed preparations for the negotiations, and key issues are to be agreed upon at the leaders' level.
Among the main topics of the upcoming meetings are strengthening Ukraine's defense support, expanding cooperation in the field of European security, particularly in air defense, as well as coordinating approaches regarding the diplomatic prospects for ending the war.
"The main thing is our defense in the war, more cooperation for the security of all Europe in the direction of air defense, and our shared view on diplomatic prospects: Europe must be involved in negotiations and must be strong," Zelenskyy emphasized.
Additionally, a meeting between the President of Ukraine and King Charles III of the United Kingdom is scheduled for Monday, June 8.
The President also thanked the United Kingdom and international partners for their support of Ukraine and stressed the need for continued pressure on Russia.
"Russia must end this war of theirs," the Head of State stated.
