Up to 10 million UAH at 0% – five energy support programs for businesses, condominiums, and citizens
Ukraine's Prime Minister Yuliia Svyrydenko reminded about state financial support programs that help businesses, communities, and citizens secure backup energy sources amid the energy crisis.
Currently, five targeted government programs are in place to provide assistance for the installation of energy equipment. Their goal is to increase the energy resilience of enterprises, apartment buildings, and private households amid Russian attacks on energy infrastructure.
0% loans for generators for small and medium businesses
The program allows micro, small, and medium businesses to purchase generators and other equipment for autonomous power supply.
The maximum loan amount is up to 10 million UAH for a term of up to three years. Since the program's inception, over 400 loans totaling more than 620 million UAH have been issued.
Loans for cogeneration under the "5–7–9%" program
Under this program, businesses and condominiums can receive up to 250 million UAH in financing for the construction and installation of gas turbine, gas piston, biogas, and cogeneration units.
So far, 155 loans totaling over 2.6 billion UAH have been issued.
Own generation at 10% annual interest for medium and large businesses
The program provides the opportunity to attract from 1 to 25 million euros for the construction of new generating capacities, energy storage systems, cogeneration units, as well as projects in the biogas and biomass sectors.
For enterprises in frontline regions, the minimum financing amount is from 500 thousand euros.
Loan terms are up to five years. Priority is given to projects in energy-deficient and frontline regions.
Energy support for condominiums and housing cooperatives
Associations of co-owners of apartment buildings and housing cooperatives can receive loans at 0–7% annual interest for the installation of generators, solar power plants, and heat pumps.
The state compensates up to 70% of the project cost. The maximum loan amount is up to 3 million UAH.
To date, 15 loans totaling more than 22 million UAH have been issued.
Energy support for private households
Owners of private houses and townhouses can use loans at 0–7% annual interest to purchase generators, batteries, and solar power plants.
The state compensates up to 30% of the project cost. The maximum loan amount is up to 480 thousand UAH.
Within the program, nearly 1,200 loans totaling more than 420 million UAH have already been issued.
