Some pension supplements are not permanent and may be suspended under certain circumstances. One of the most common is the care allowance. The right to it may be lost if the pensioner changes their place of residence, begins receiving another type of social assistance, or fails to confirm the need for constant external care.
The payment of the child support allowance is also stopped. This right is lost after the child reaches adulthood or after the completion of their education, if the education was the basis for receiving the supplement.
Special attention should be paid to payments related to the status of a person with a disability. Such supplements may be cancelled in case of failure to undergo the mandatory re-examination or after a change in the disability group.
Some types of supplements depend on the pensioner's place of residence. For example, allowances established for residents of territories with a special status may be reviewed or terminated after relocation or a change in the status of the respective settlement.
In addition, recalculation is possible regarding the supplement for excess insurance experience. Such cases arise after clarifying data on employment, verifying insurance experience, or detecting inaccuracies in documents.

The Pension Fund recommends timely reporting of all circumstances that may affect the right to supplements. It is also advisable to periodically check the accuracy and relevance of the information contained in state registers and the pension file.
How to Apply for Pension Supplements
To be granted supplements, it is necessary to contact the Pension Fund authorities and submit the pension certificate along with documents confirming the right to the respective supplement. In most cases, such payments are not established automatically, so their registration requires a separate application from the pensioner.
