Kyiv residents began receiving heating bills several months after the end of the heating season. The municipal enterprise "Kyivteploenergo" explains that these are recalculations for January.

The issue was raised during the government question hour in the Verkhovna Rada. The Prime Minister of Ukraine, Yuliia Svyrydenko, stated that the government will check the mass heating bills received by the capital's residents.

According to her, in cases where the service was not provided in full, charges should not be applied.

"This issue regarding bills has been raised repeatedly today. Deputy Prime Minister Oleksiy Volodymyrovych Kuleba will now deal with the addresses where the respective bills were issued, because according to the law and the Cabinet of Ministers' resolution, if the service was not provided in full, such bills should not and cannot be issued to people. Therefore, we will now address this issue," said Yuliia Svyrydenko.
