Ukraine Prepares Ambassador Rotation for a "New Dynamic" in Relations
Foreign Minister Andriy Sybiha stated during the government question hour in the Verkhovna Rada that vacant ambassador positions of Ukraine in several foreign countries are planned to be filled by mid-summer.
According to him, candidates for the heads of foreign diplomatic missions will soon be submitted to the President in order to complete the appointments before the annual ambassadors' meeting scheduled for mid-summer.
Sybiha noted that the President instructed to prepare submissions regarding filling vacant positions and rotating ambassadors in several countries to provide a new impetus to international relations.
At the same time, he said that the key challenge in this process remains the personnel issue, so the search for suitable candidates is currently ongoing.
