Beaches Officially Opened in Odesa: List of Safe Swimming Spots
In Odesa, the first beach zones that meet safety requirements and are available for public recreation have been identified. Currently, visiting 13 locations is permitted, but the list may be expanded in the future. This was reported by the head of the Odesa Regional Military Administration, Oleh Kiper.
According to him, he signed a joint order with the command of the operational-tactical group "Odesa" to open recreational zones on the coast. The decision was made based on the conclusions of a special commission of the Odesa City Military Administration, which inspected the sites and checked their compliance with safety requirements.
The list of open beach zones includes:
- "Zolotyi Bereh" (Golden Coast);
- "Kurortnyi";
- municipal beach for persons with disabilities;
- "Chaika";
- "Arkadia" (in the area of the Red Line and Ibiza nightclubs);
- "Delfin";
- "Kaleton";
- inclusive beach "Bez Mezh" (Without Limits) and other locations.
As Oleh Kiper noted, before opening, all beaches were checked for the presence and accessibility of shelters, the organization of rescue posts, as well as other conditions necessary for the safe stay of visitors.
The list of beaches allowed for visiting may be increased after additional inspections.
At the same time, residents and guests of Odesa are urged to follow safety rules, respond to air raid signals, and comply with the recommendations of rescue services.
