Ukrzaliznytsia Warns of Train Delays from Poland to Ukraine
Ukrzaliznytsia announced that international trains from Chełm and Przemyśl to Ukraine will depart with delays of up to 2.5-3 hours due to disruptions in the energy infrastructure on the Polish railway.
It is noted that trains traveling from Warsaw to Chełm and Przemyśl are delayed due to power outages on the Polish railway network.
Ukrzaliznytsia, together with PKP Intercity, has decided to ensure connections with trains arriving late so that passengers do not miss their transfers.
On Ukrainian territory, railway workers promise to "make every effort to reduce delays" and, where conditions allow, to proceed at an accelerated pace.
Passengers whose journey involves further transfers within Ukraine are advised to inform the train crew or contact support via the app with copies of their tickets.
