Government Allows Defense Enterprises to Lease State Property Without Auction
The Cabinet of Ministers has adopted a decision that simplifies the procedure for leasing state property without auctions for defense-industrial complex enterprises during martial law.
According to Prime Minister Yuliia Svyrydenko, the new mechanism primarily concerns companies engaged in the production of missile weapons, explosives, and modern types of weapons. She emphasized that this decision will enable faster launching of new production capacities and increase the volume of products manufactured for the needs of Ukrainian defenders.
The Prime Minister noted that the right to use the simplified procedure will be granted to enterprises that have the status of critically important and are included by the Ministry of Defense in the register of state contract performers.
"Ukrainian manufacturers are capable of significantly increasing production, and accordingly the advantage of our military on the battlefield. The government is doing everything possible to ensure that Ukraine is strong and armed," Svyrydenko concluded.
