Thrown near the trash bin when he felt unwell: in Dnipro, recruitment center employees are suspected of kidnapping a man
In Dnipro, servicemen of the TRC are suspected of kidnapping a man. This was reported by the National Police.
It is noted that three servicemen serving at the regional TRC saw a man of mobilization age on a deserted street in the morning. They approached the man under the pretext of checking documents. However, according to the investigation, they did not wait for a response, immediately grabbed and forcibly pushed the man into a van.
The police reported that in the vehicle they behaved arrogantly: psychologically pressured and intimidated the man.
In their presence, the victim's health significantly deteriorated — he became unwell. But instead of providing assistance and taking him to the hospital, the suspects pushed the helpless man out of the vehicle onto the ground near a trash bin and fled.
The police emphasize that one of the servicemen held the position of a rifleman-medic and was supposed to help the man.
The victim in critical condition was taken to the hospital; law enforcement officials did not disclose further information about him.
According to the investigation, shortly after the incident, two of the suspects were transferred to other military units, while one remained serving at the recruitment center.
Currently, two suspects have already been notified of suspicion under Part 2 of Article 146 (Illegal deprivation of liberty or kidnapping) of the Criminal Code of Ukraine. In addition, the rifleman-medic is additionally charged under Part 3 of Article 135 (Leaving in danger) of the Criminal Code of Ukraine. Another former colleague is preparing to be notified of suspicion. They face criminal liability.
