The High Anti-Corruption Court recognized the elite SUV of a deputy from Chernihiv region as an unjustified asset
The High Anti-Corruption Court recognized as an unjustified asset a vehicle used by a deputy of the Chernihiv Regional Council. It concerns a 2020 TOYOTA LAND CRUISER 200 worth 2 million UAH. This was reported by the National Agency on Corruption Prevention (NACP).
During monitoring, the NACP established that in 2023 the mentioned vehicle was purchased by an acquaintance of the deputy. However, in fact, the car was used exclusively by the official. Moreover, on the day of the vehicle's purchase, she was designated as the rightful user of the vehicle, which gave her the ability to dispose of it.
An analysis of the income and expenses of the deputy, her family members, and an associated person confirmed the absence of sufficient legal income to purchase SUV of such value.
According to the decision of the High Anti-Corruption Court, the specified asset will be seized in favor of the state. The court's decision can be appealed in the manner prescribed by law.
