Who receives 100, 70, 50, and 30 thousand hryvnias – the TRC explained the system of 'combat' payments
The Sumy Regional Territorial Center for Recruitment and Social Support explained under what conditions servicemen receive additional payments, so-called "combat" payments. The amount of monetary allowance depends on the nature of the tasks, the area of their execution, and the number of days of direct participation in combat operations.
100 thousand hryvnias are received by military personnel who take direct part in combat operations on the front-line positions, in temporarily occupied territories, or in areas of confrontation between defense forces and the enemy. This payment is also provided for servicemen who carry out fire strikes against the enemy, including artillerymen, missile units, and air defense units.
50 thousand hryvnias are assigned to servicemen of military command bodies, headquarters, and commands who ensure troop management and perform combat or special tasks.
30 thousand hryvnias are paid for performing combat and special tasks according to combat orders. These include preparation for combat operations, unit management, logistical support, demining, air defense, and protection of critical infrastructure.
An additional payment of 70 thousand hryvnias is separately provided for servicemen who perform tasks directly on the line of combat contact, in temporarily occupied territories, or on enemy territory. It is accrued on a cumulative basis — for every 30 days of performing such tasks.
The basis for accrual of "combat" payments is a commander's order formed on the basis of combat directives, combat action logs, reports, and other official documents. The amount of payments is determined proportionally to the actual time of task execution.
The Territorial Center noted that "combat" payments are not accrued to servicemen who voluntarily left their unit, were under the influence of alcohol or drugs, refused to follow orders, were suspended from service, or are undergoing disciplinary punishment.
In case of non-accrual, a serviceman can submit a report to the commander, check the documentation, or contact the Ministry of Defense of Ukraine hotline at 1512.
Recall that the Grand Chamber of the Supreme Court reviewed a model case 280/8933/24 on recovering compensation for lost income due to delays in payment of monetary allowances.
