Employees under the age of 18 are entitled to an annual main vacation lasting 31 calendar days. This was reported by the Inspection Activity Department in the Zhytomyr region.

Additional guarantees regarding vacations for minor employees are provided by Article 195 of the Labor Code of Ukraine. According to the regulations, such employees are granted annual vacations at a time convenient for them.

In the first year of work, a full-length vacation can be granted upon the employee's request even before completing six months of continuous work at the enterprise.

When preparing the vacation schedule, the employer is obliged to primarily consider the wishes of employees under 18 years old. If a minor employee was hired after the schedule was approved, the vacation time for the first working year is determined by making changes to this schedule taking into account their wishes.

According to part 5 of Article 80 of the Labor Code of Ukraine and part 5 of Article 11 of the Law of Ukraine "On Vacations," it is prohibited to deny annual vacation to minor employees during the working year.
