The government has decided to allocate an additional 2 billion UAH to Kyiv for preparation for the heating season, including the protection of energy facilities and ensuring uninterrupted heat supply. This was announced by the Prime Minister of Ukraine, Yuliia Svyrydenko.

As part of the implementation of Kyiv's Resilience Plan, the state has already financed the purchase of block-modular boiler houses. 966 million UAH was allocated for these needs.

The additional financial resource for the capital, according to the government, should be used to minimize the risks of heat supply interruptions during the winter period and to protect the population from possible emergencies.
