In Kyiv, a driver who ran a yellow traffic light in front of the police was punished
In the Pechersky district of Kyiv, a Hyundai driver who ran a red traffic light was punished.
According to the Kyiv Patrol Police, inspectors stopped the driver and issued a fine under Part 2 of Article 122 (Running a red traffic light) of the Code of Administrative Offenses, with a fine amounting to 510 hryvnias.
Law enforcement reminded that traffic light signals have the following meanings:
- green allows movement;
- yellow prohibits movement and warns of the upcoming signal change;
- red signal, including flashing, or two flashing red signals prohibit movement.
