A rare Mercedes-Maybach V12 Edition spotted in Kyiv – only 50 such cars produced worldwide
A rare Mercedes-Maybach V12 Edition was spotted on the streets of Kyiv, belonging to a limited series of only 50 cars worldwide. In terms of exclusivity, this model surpasses many modern collectible supercars, as, for comparison, 499 units of the Ferrari LaFerrari and 500 Bugatti Chiron cars were produced, media report.
The Mercedes-Maybach V12 Edition series was presented on September 23, 2025, during a closed event for VIP clients in the city of Civitavecchia. The release was dedicated to the nearly century-long history of Maybach's V12 engines. The company recalled that back in 1928, the Maybach Zeppelin model became the first serial car with a V12 engine.

Among other features of the model are a "1 of 50" plaque on the center console, handmade steering wheel, silver champagne glasses by Robbe & Berking engraved with the series, as well as an exclusive handmade key fob and key box.
The manufacturer did not disclose the official price of the Mercedes-Maybach V12 Edition. Meanwhile, the base version of the Mercedes-Maybach S 680 costs from $245,650 on the US market, and the price of top trims exceeds $340,000. Industry experts believe that due to the limited edition, hand finishing, and use of precious materials, the price of the V12 Edition is significantly higher and may increase in the future as a collectible value.
