Volodymyr Zelenskyy Revealed Details of a "Positive" Conversation with Witkoff and Kushner
President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelenskyy stated that he had a "very positive" conversation with envoys of U.S. President Donald Trump, Steve Witkoff and Jared Kushner, and highly appreciated their readiness to work on resolving the war in Ukraine in the coming weeks.
"A very positive conversation. Grateful for the readiness to work as actively as possible already in these weeks to give an impetus to diplomacy to end Russia's war against Ukraine. We understand how many global eyes are focused on the situation around Iran. But our common goal regarding peace in Europe remains on the agenda," he said.
According to the Ukrainian leader, they also discussed prospects in the context of the G7 summit and other events in June. Zelenskyy informed about the data Ukraine has regarding the intentions in Moscow.
"Grateful for the words of respect towards Ukrainians and the positive assessment of Ukraine's positions. Thank you, America! Thank you Moldova for hospitality," he added.
