0.1% per annum and up to 150 million UAH: The Cabinet announced assistance for businesses affected by shelling
Prime Minister of Ukraine Yuliia Svyrydenko announced that the Government is introducing a new program to restore enterprises damaged by shelling.
According to her, from July 1, small and medium-sized businesses will be able to receive cheaper loans to restore destroyed or damaged property under the “Affordable Loans 5-7-9%” program.
“The interest rate on such loans will be 0.1% for the first two years. Afterwards, it will be 5%, 7%, or 9% depending on the business segment and the creation of new jobs. The maximum amount is up to 150 million UAH,” said the head of government.
Loans for restoring destroyed or damaged property will not be counted when determining the maximum loan amount eligible for state support if the enterprise simultaneously uses several programs or support directions.
As of early June, since the program started in February 2020, entrepreneurs have received 150.9 thousand loans totaling 531.6 billion UAH. Of these, since the beginning of 2026, businesses have received 16.4 thousand loans amounting to 71.6 billion UAH.
“The “Affordable Loans 5-7-9%” program operates for small and medium businesses across the country and remains one of the key tools in the development policy of Ukrainian manufacturers “Made in Ukraine.”
In addition to the new loan program for the restoration of affected enterprises, there is also a grant program for restoration up to 16 million UAH for production equipment, the “Support Point” program to compensate employee salaries during downtime caused by shelling, and military risk insurance programs,” added Svyrydenko.
