Prepare for weather sensitivity: a series of magnetic storms of varying strength expected in June
Throughout June 2026, periods of increased geomagnetic activity are forecasted on Earth, which may affect the well-being of people sensitive to weather and magnetic field changes.
According to the NOAA Space Weather Prediction Center, magnetic storms of varying intensity levels are expected during the month. The most noticeable storms are forecasted for June 11 and 12.
Moderate magnetic activity is expected on June 4, 9, and 13. At the same time, minor geomagnetic fluctuations may be observed on June 2–3, 5–10, as well as from June 14 to 20.
Experts note that the greatest impact of magnetic storms may be felt by people with cardiovascular diseases, chronic illnesses, and increased weather sensitivity. On such days, headaches, blood pressure fluctuations, increased fatigue, irritability, sleep problems, and decreased concentration are often observed.
Medical professionals especially advise elderly people, as well as those under prolonged stress or with chronic diseases, to be attentive to their health.
To better endure periods of increased solar activity, it is recommended to maintain a full sleep regimen, drink enough water throughout the day, and prefer light and balanced food.
Experts also advise limiting alcohol consumption and avoiding excessive physical and emotional stress.
