Heat Up to 37 Degrees: What the Weather Will Be Like on the Weekend
The Ukrainian Hydrometeorological Centre has reported that Ukraine will experience hot weather over the weekend of 1 and 2 August.
According to the report: "Dry, hot weather will prevail, with night temperatures ranging from 15-22°C and daytime temperatures from 27-34°C. In the western regions, and in the southern regions on 3 August, extreme heat of 35-37°C is expected locally."
Isolated thunderstorms are forecast for the north-west of the country on Sunday.
On Saturday, slight cloudiness is expected with no precipitation. Winds will be variable in direction at 3-8 m/s.
Night-time temperatures will be 15-20°C, while daytime temperatures will reach 27-32°C, with extreme local heat of 35-37°C in the western regions.
In Kyiv and the surrounding region, dry weather will continue tomorrow. Winds will be variable in direction at 3-8 m/s.
