Days Off in June 2026: Will There Be Additional Rest Days
In June 2026, Ukrainians will not have additional official days off due to holidays. Although the Constitution Day of Ukraine, which is celebrated annually on June 28, falls on Sunday this year, Monday, June 29, will remain a working day.
Also, June 1, following Trinity Sunday which falls on a Sunday this year, would have been an additional day off.
However, during martial law, the legislative provision for transferring a day off if a holiday coincides with a weekend does not apply.
Thus, most employees will work according to the usual schedule. At the same time, employers may independently decide to grant employees additional days off if the working conditions of the enterprise or institution allow it.
In June 2026, there will be 30 calendar days. Under the standard five-day workweek, the following are provided:
- working days — 22;
- days off — 8.
The only state holiday of the month will remain Constitution Day of Ukraine, celebrated on June 28.
