Ukrainian national football team secured a victory over Poland in the first match under the leadership of the new head coach, Italian Andrea Maldieri. The friendly match at the 45,000-capacity «Tarczynski Arena» in Wrocław ended with a score of 2:0 in favor of the guests.
Both goals were scored by the Ukrainian team before halftime. At the 34th minute, Roman Yaremchuk scored, and at the 44th minute, Andriy Yarmolenko doubled the advantage. Viktor Tsyhankov assisted in both scoring attacks.
The next friendly match for the Ukraine national team under Maldieri's leadership will take place on June 7 against Denmark. The game starts at 7:30 PM (Kyiv time).
