Is it possible under the new rules to reserve an employee if they work part-time
As previously reported by the "Judicial and Legal Newspaper", the Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine published the controversial Resolution No. 692, which introduced significant changes to the basic Resolution No. 76 regarding the procedure for reserving conscripts.
The new government decision is primarily aimed at identifying and excluding business entities that use the reservation mechanism solely to avoid mobilization, without fulfilling an important function for the country's economy.
The Ministry of Economy, Environment and Agriculture explained how reservation will work for part-time employees.
The agency emphasized that an employee will be counted in the reservation quota at only one place of work.
"This does not necessarily have to be the main place of work. If a conscript works at their main job and also at several enterprises part-time, they can be counted among the conscripts working at the enterprise only once," the Ministry of Economy said.
They also explained whether an employee can be reserved at an enterprise where they work part-time.
"Yes, if this enterprise includes them in its reservation quota. The main principle is that one conscript can be counted only once, regardless of the number of workplaces," the agency added.
