The Chairman of the Verkhovna Rada Committee on Education, Serhiy Babak, published the weekly summary in the field of education, science, and innovation, compiled in an educational digest.

Among the main decisions and indicators, it was noted that 600 million hryvnias have been allocated for preparing universities for the autumn-winter period of 2026/2027.

It is also reported that the deadline for submitting documents for applicants to military higher education institutions and colleges has been extended until July 1 — the admission campaign has been extended by one month.

It is separately noted that preparation has begun for the launch of supervisory boards in vocational education institutions (colleges).

In addition, the state has allocated 67.8 billion UAH for the implementation of Regional Resilience Plans. According to published data, the best results are demonstrated by Rivne, Zhytomyr, and Cherkasy regions.

A resolution has also been adopted to improve the procedures for awarding prizes and scholarships of the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine.
