In Bucha, a man broke into someone else's home in the middle of the night and began touching a child's intimate organs
In Bucha, law enforcement officers reported suspicion against a 38-year-old man who illegally entered an apartment on the first floor at night and ended up in a children's room.
Under the procedural guidance of juvenile prosecutors of the Bucha District Prosecutor's Office, he was notified of suspicion of committing sexual violence (part 4 of article 153 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine) and illegal entry into a dwelling (part 1 of article 162 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine).
According to the investigation, the incident occurred on June 14 around 3:00 a.m. The man entered the premises through an open window. He tore the mosquito net and ended up in the children's room where an 8-year-old girl was sleeping. There he began touching the child's intimate organs. The girl started screaming. Hearing the daughter's noise, the mother ran to the room, after which the man jumped out and fled.
Law enforcement officers quickly established his whereabouts and detained him under article 208 of the Criminal Procedure Code of Ukraine.
The prosecutor's office applied to the court for a preventive measure in the form of detention without the right to bail.
The pre-trial investigation is ongoing.
