The Cabinet of Ministers approved the draft of the new Customs Code
On Monday, July 27, the Government re-approved the draft of the new Customs Code and submitted it to the Verkhovna Rada. This was reported by Prime Minister Serhiy Koretskyi.
He emphasized that this is one of the key bills in the process of European integration.
"I count on effective and productive work on the document together with the people’s deputies regarding each of its provisions.
The new edition of the Customs Code should ensure the transformation of the Ukrainian customs service into a modern security border of European standards," he added.
Earlier, it was reported that a new Customs Code is being prepared in Ukraine for harmonization with EU law.
