What are the amounts of the one-time cash payment for Independence Day of Ukraine in 2026
The state provides support to citizens who have special labor merits to the Motherland, war veterans, and persons working in special conditions. This was reminded by the Main Department of the Pension Fund of Ukraine in Donetsk region.
In 2026, payments for Independence Day of Ukraine are established in the following amounts:
- to persons who have special merits to the Motherland – 3,100 UAH;
- to persons with disabilities due to war and former underage prisoners of concentration camps, ghettos, and other places of forced detention, recognized as persons with disabilities:
Group I – 3,100 UAH;
Group II – 2,900 UAH;
Group III – 2,700 UAH;
- to combatants, affected participants of the Revolution of Dignity, and former underage prisoners of concentration camps, ghettos, and other places of forced detention, as well as children born in the mentioned places of forced detention of their parents – 1,000 UAH;
- to family members of deceased (dead) war veterans whose status is established according to the Law of Ukraine "On the Status of War Veterans, Guarantees of Their Social Protection", family members of deceased (dead) Defenders of Ukraine, spouses of deceased persons with war-related disabilities who have not remarried, spouses of deceased combatants, war participants, and victims of Nazi persecutions recognized as persons with disabilities during their lifetime who have not remarried – 650 UAH;
- to war participants and former prisoners of concentration camps, ghettos, other places of forced detention, persons forcibly taken for forced labor, children of partisans, underground fighters, and other participants in the struggle against the National Socialist regime behind enemy lines – 450 UAH.
The procedure for making the one-time cash payment for Independence Day of Ukraine is approved by the Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine Resolution dated December 27, 2023, No. 1396 "Some issues of social protection and social support of certain categories of the population."
