Competition for appellate courts: three candidates confirmed their ability to administer justice
At the meeting of the High Qualification Commission of Judges of Ukraine in plenary session, the issue of confirming the ability of two candidates for the position of judge to administer justice in the Odessa Appellate Court and one candidate in the Lviv Appellate Court was considered.
Based on the results of the meeting on May 27, the Commission made the following decisions:
Oleh Olehovych Shkuta - confirmed the ability to administer justice in the appellate general court
Ihor Vitaliyovych Pavelchenko - confirmed the ability to administer justice in the appellate general court
Oleksii Vasylovych Fazykosh - confirmed the ability to administer justice in the appellate general court
The HQCJ reminded that 50 candidates submitted applications to participate in the competition for 23 vacant judge positions in the Odessa Appellate Court.
In total, interviews were conducted with 49 candidates for the Odessa Appellate Court: 31 candidates confirmed their ability to administer justice, 18 candidates did not confirm. One candidate withdrew from the competition.
For participation in the competition for 28 vacant judge positions in the Lviv Appellate Court, 55 candidates submitted applications.
In total, interviews were conducted with 42 candidates: 27 candidates confirmed their ability to administer justice in the appellate general court, 8 did not confirm, and interviews with 7 candidates will take place in the plenary session of the Commission. One candidate withdrew from the competition.
