The High Council of Justice reported that during January – May 2026, it made a decision to submit to the President of Ukraine a proposal to appoint 75 candidates to judicial positions, including:

to local general courts — 12 judges;

to the local administrative court – 1 judge;

to the local commercial court – 1 judge;

to appellate general courts – 44 judges;

to appellate commercial courts – 11 judges;

to appellate administrative courts – 6 judges.

“It is worth noting that as of June 16, 2026, the President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelenskyy has supported the High Council of Justice's proposal to appoint 74 judges to appellate and local courts,” the High Council of Justice added.
