A boy was beaten because of his appearance: the court punished the underage participant of the attack
The judge of the Vinnytsia City Court of Vinnytsia region considered the prosecutor's petition to apply compulsory educational measures to a minor girl who has not reached the age of criminal responsibility. This was reported by the Vinnytsia City Court of Vinnytsia region.
The court established that in the premises of a shopping center in Vinnytsia, the accused and other persons, whose materials were separated into separate proceedings, started a conflict with a boy unknown to them because of his appearance. The conflict escalated into a fight during which the victim sustained bodily injuries, including a concussion, multiple bruises, and abrasions on various parts of the body.
As a result of a closed court hearing, the court satisfied the prosecutor's petition and applied compulsory educational measures to the minor in the form of restriction of leisure and establishment of special requirements for the girl, placing her under her mother's supervision and restricting her presence outside the place of residence from 7:30 p.m. to 7:00 a.m. the next day for a period of 2 (two) years. The civil claim of the victim's legal representative was partially satisfied: 30,000 hryvnias were recovered as moral damages from the legal representative.
Currently, the ruling has not yet come into legal force.
