Scientific workers can now get a deferral through Reserve+ without visiting the TCC
The Reserve+ app has expanded the list of citizens who can apply for a mobilization deferral completely online – now the service is available for scientific workers of higher education institutions and scientific institutions.
The Ministry of Defense explains: to receive a deferral online, you need to have up-to-date data in the Unified State Electronic Database on Education (EDEBO) regarding:
- main place of work;
- employment of at least 0.75 full-time equivalent;
- the right to a deferral based on the position in the higher education sector;
- work in a position included in the list of scientific positions.
It is also important that the institution where the person works is confirmed in EDEBO as one engaged in scientific activity and passed state attestation. In addition, the deferral is available to employees of the Presidium of the National Academy of Sciences of Ukraine, national sectoral academies of sciences, and their apparatuses.
The deferral in Reserve+ is still available for scientific-pedagogical and pedagogical workers of higher, professional pre-higher, and vocational education institutions, as well as scientists involved in the educational process.
How to apply for a deferral in Reserve+ online
The electronic service operates automatically. To submit a request, follow three simple steps:
- Authorize yourself in the Reserve+ mobile app.
- Find the required section: select the category “Higher and professional education workers, scientists” and click the submit request button.
- Wait for the notification: the system will automatically verify your data in state registers and send a message with the result.
If the information in EDEBO is up-to-date and meets the requirements, the deferral will be granted automatically.
What to do if the system issues a refusal
If an error occurs or it is impossible to apply for a deferral online, there is no need to immediately go to the TCR. First, contact your employer (personnel service or institution administration) – most likely, your data in the EDEBO system is outdated and needs urgent verification or updating.
