How to File a Lawsuit by Phone and Receive a Court Decision Online
Submitting documents to the court from a smartphone, receiving court decisions online, and not waiting for paper letters — today this is already a common possibility for users of the “Electronic Court” service.
As emphasized by the Fifth Administrative Court of Appeal, after registering an electronic cabinet, every citizen can interact with the court online — quickly, conveniently, and at any time.
What the service allows:
- to file a lawsuit, appeal, application, or other documents remotely;
- to receive court notifications and decisions in electronic form;
- to track the progress of their case online;
- to save time and money on printing documents and postal deliveries.
This format is convenient for those who are in another city, have limited time, or do not want to spend resources visiting the court.
The possibility of electronic interaction with the court is provided by the Code of Administrative Procedure of Ukraine. In particular, Article 18 of the Code defines the operation of the Unified Judicial Information and Communication System (UJICS), through which case participants can submit and receive documents electronically.
To register in the “Electronic Court” system, you need to have an electronic / Diia signature.
