Ukraine has officially introduced a new professional holiday — State Financial Control Worker’s Day. It will be celebrated annually on July 29.

President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelenskyy signed decree No. 441/2026 "On State Financial Control Worker’s Day."

The new professional holiday was established taking into account the role of state financial control bodies in protecting the economic interests of the state, as well as to promote the development of professional activities in this field and ensure the lawful and effective use of state resources.

The decree comes into force on the day of its official publication.

Additionally, the Verkhovna Rada adopted a resolution establishing Ukrainian Music Day, which will be celebrated annually on the third Saturday of September.
