Pensions after indexation 2026: who was guaranteed minimum payments of 4,050 UAH and 4,213 UAH
Although a large-scale pension recalculation was carried out in spring 2026 according to the Cabinet of Ministers Resolution No. 236, the issue of pension payment amounts remains important for millions of Ukrainians. After the March indexation, updated minimum pension provision standards and age supplements for certain categories of citizens continue to apply.
This year, the government did not limit itself to just pension indexation. Minimum guaranteed payments were also revised for several categories of pensioners. Primarily, this concerns persons with disabilities, including those affected by the Chernobyl Nuclear Power Plant accident, as well as elderly people who have the required insurance record.
For citizens affected by the Chernobyl disaster, new minimum pension amounts were established after the recalculation.
From March 1, 2026, the minimum pension payments for persons with disabilities among the participants in the liquidation of the consequences of the Chernobyl accident are:
Group I disability – 20,653.55 UAH;
Group II disability – 16,522.84 UAH;
Group III disability – 12,392.13 UAH.
Age supplements and minimum guarantees
Pensioners who have reached the age of 65 and have a full insurance record (at least 30 years for women and 35 years for men) are guaranteed a pension payment of at least 4,213 UAH by the state. The same minimum pension amount is provided for persons aged 80 and over with a full insurance record.
For citizens aged 70 to 80 who meet the insurance record requirements, the minimum pension payment is set at 4,050 UAH.
Guarantees are also defined for pensioners aged 75 to 80 with an incomplete insurance record. If a man has at least 25 years of record and a woman at least 20 years, their pension amount cannot be less than 4,050 UAH.
