School Canteens to Be Renovated in 15 Regions: Cabinet of Ministers Allocates 350 Million UAH
The Cabinet of Ministers continues to update school infrastructure and implement a modern nutrition system in educational institutions.
As announced by Prime Minister Yuliia Svyrydenko, an additional 350 million UAH has been allocated for the modernization of school canteens. This is the fourth and final stage of the distribution of the state subsidy.
"We are allocating 350 million for school canteen modernization projects. This is already the fourth and final distribution of the state subsidy. In total, we will finance 73 projects worth 1 billion UAH in 15 regions," she said.
According to the head of government, the selection of projects was conducted through the digital systems DREAM and AICOM, which automatically ranked applications according to established priority criteria.
The final allocation of funds was approved by the Ministry of Education and Science commission with the participation of independent experts, including representatives of the European Union Anti-Corruption Initiative in Ukraine.
