Odesa Region to Be the First to Test the eQueue System for Passenger Cars – What Will Change
Odesa Region will become one of the pilot regions for launching the eQueue system for passenger cars. This was announced by the Deputy Prime Minister for the Restoration of Ukraine – Minister for Communities and Territories Development of Ukraine, Oleksiy Kuleba, during the Transport Forum in Odesa.
"Despite the war, Ukraine not only maintains logistics operations but also builds a new model of transport resilience – digital, integrated with the EU, and more efficient. Odesa Region plays an important role in this process," emphasized the Deputy Prime Minister.
Special attention during the event was given to the digitalization of transport processes. The eQueue system is already used for freight and bus transport and, according to the government’s assessment, has made border crossing more predictable and transparent. The next step will be testing the service for passenger cars.
The forum also discussed the investment potential of Odesa Region as one of the key logistics centers of Ukraine and the Black Sea region. In particular, the development of port infrastructure and the implementation of public-private partnership projects were addressed.
