In Kharkiv Region, law enforcement officers have notified four men of suspicion, who are suspected of attacking servicemen of the Territorial Recruitment and Social Support Center and hooliganism.

According to the police, the conflict occurred in one of the settlements of the region after the arrival of a notification group from the district TRC to perform official duties. A dispute arose between the servicemen and a group of local residents, which escalated into an attack.

The investigation preliminarily established that one of the suspects used a metal telescopic baton, with which he damaged the service vehicle and struck the servicemen. In addition, during the incident, the attackers used a tear gas and irritant substance.

As a result of the attack, representatives of the Territorial Recruitment and Social Support Center sustained bodily injuries of varying severity.

After conducting operational-search and investigative measures, the police identified and detained all participants in the incident.

Currently, four men have been notified of suspicion. Depending on each person's role, they are charged with hooliganism and intentional infliction of bodily harm to officials in connection with the performance of their official duties.

The sanctions of the incriminated articles provide for punishment, including imprisonment for up to seven years.

The pre-trial investigation is ongoing. Law enforcement officers are establishing all circumstances of the incident and checking for possible involvement of other persons.
