Since June 1, the "Migrant" operation has entered its practical phase, and the first results of the inspections have already been recorded in Cherkasy region.

In the Zvenyhorodka district, a citizen of Georgia was identified. The 33-year-old woman entered Ukraine in November 2025 and exceeded the permitted length of stay. During the inspection, employees of the Zvenyhorodka department of the Central-Southern Interregional Department of the State Migration Service established that this was not her first violation of migration legislation.

Last year, she was already held administratively liable for a similar violation and a decision was made for her forced return.

This time, for the repeated violation, the foreign citizen was held liable under Part 3 of Article 203 of the Code of Administrative Offenses. The fine amounted to 5,100 hryvnias. A new decision on forced return was also made, and the woman committed to leaving the territory of Ukraine on her own within one month.

The hosting party was also fined for the second time — 1,700 hryvnias.

The "Migrant" operation continues. During the practical phase, inspections are carried out, violations are identified, and appropriate decisions are made.
