On June 4, Ukraine celebrates the Day of the Establishment of the System of Commercial Courts
On June 4, it marks 35 years since the establishment of the system of commercial (arbitration) courts of Ukraine. On this day in 1991, the Law of Ukraine "On Arbitration Court" was adopted, which initiated the functioning of a specialized branch of judicial power to consider disputes in the field of commercial relations.
The adoption of the law was an important stage in the formation of the national judicial system and laid the foundation for the further development of commercial justice in Ukraine.
Over the years of operation, commercial courts have become one of the key institutions for protecting the rights and legitimate interests of participants in commercial relations, as well as ensuring the stability of the economic environment.
During 35 years of functioning, the system has undergone a path of formation and development, accumulated significant experience in dispute resolution, and has become an integral part of the judicial power of Ukraine.
