Ihor Dobrovan Headed "Prozorro Sales"
On Tuesday, June 9, the Supervisory Board of JSC «Prozorro.Sales», based on the results of an open competition, appointed a new chairman of the board — Ihor Dobrovan. This was reported by the Ministry of Economy, Environment and Agriculture of Ukraine.
«The competition was held in an open competitive format in accordance with the best corporate governance practices and in compliance with legal requirements. The selection was conducted under the supervision of the Supervisory Board, coordinated by the Committee on Appointments and Remuneration, and accompanied by an independent executive search consultant — the international company Amrop. This approach ensured openness, competitiveness, and transparency of the process at every stage,» the ministry stated.
«The competition was truly open and competitive. The decision is the result of a thorough procedure following the best corporate governance practices with the involvement of an independent consultant. We are confident that the new leader will ensure both stability and further development of the company,» commented the chairman of the Supervisory Board of JSC «Prozorro.Sales», Illia Mykhailov, on the appointment.
The handover of duties will take place in a planned manner. The company continues uninterrupted operations, maintaining stability for users, partners, and the team, and unwavering commitment to its mission.
Serhiy But, who led JSC «Prozorro.Sales» for the last 3.5 years, ended his work at the company on June 9.
What is known about Ihor Dobrovan
Ihor Dobrovan is a manager with over 15 years of experience in the public and private sectors at the intersection of finance, technology, and regulated markets. His most relevant experience includes leading SMIDA (Agency for the Development of Ukraine's Stock Market Infrastructure), a state institution under regulator supervision, where he carried out a comprehensive organizational transformation: updated the business model, implemented digitalization, and industry IT solutions. Previously, he held positions as financial and general director in a large media holding. He also has operational management experience at NeSPat, where he was responsible for entering international markets and implementing international standards (ISO 27001, 9001, GDPR). The combination of experience in the public sector, digital transformations, and building infrastructure and reporting systems makes his profile especially suitable for the new stage of development of "Prozorro.Sales." He holds an MBA degree from the Kyiv-Mohyla Business School.
Recall that Prozorro.Sales is a joint-stock company, 100% of whose shares belong to the state represented by the Ministry of Economy, Environment and Agriculture. JSC «Prozorro.Sales» ensures the operation of the electronic trading system where online auctions for leasing and selling public assets take place.
