Ukrainians Allowed Not to Pay Tax on Online Income up to 2 Thousand Euros
The parliament supported the automatic exchange of income data from digital platforms. This concerns bill 15111-d. Now services will automatically share information about their users' income with the tax authorities. Also, alcohol online will be sold only through “Diia.” In addition, the document also provides for a reduction in the personal income tax rate for citizens who officially rent out real estate.
Administration of income that people receive from digital platforms
The document introduces simplified and more transparent administration of income for citizens working through online services — including taxi drivers, couriers, and sellers of goods through marketplaces.
It is envisaged that tax administration will be carried out by the digital platforms themselves.
According to the adopted decision, the tax rate for such income is reduced from 23% to 10%.
The law separately provides a tax exemption for citizens who sell goods through digital platforms: income within 2 thousand euros per year will not be subject to taxation.
The law is linked to fulfilling obligations to international partners and the requirements of the IMF and the EU.
