On June 13, the international checkpoint "Palanca – Mayaky-Udobne" temporarily suspended border crossing operations. This was reported by the Border Police of the Republic of Moldova.

According to the Moldovan side, the restrictions are due to technical works, during which the checkpoint is without power supply.

Cross-border travelers are urged to consider the situation when planning trips and, if possible, use alternative border crossing routes.

Currently, there is no information about the timeline for resuming the checkpoint's operation.
