The activities of a trade union organization can be terminated by self-dissolution (liquidation), reorganization by decision of its members in accordance with the statute, or by a court decision banning the activities of the trade union organization. This was reminded by the State Registration Department of the Khmelnytskyi Interregional Department of the Ministry of Justice.

According to Article 18 of the Law of Ukraine "On Trade Unions, Their Rights and Guarantees of Activity," trade unions and their associations may terminate their activities through reorganization or liquidation (self-dissolution, forced dissolution).

The decision on reorganization or liquidation (self-dissolution) is made by the congress (conference), general meeting in accordance with the trade union statute, which must contain information about:

- the adopted decision to terminate activities and the method (reorganization, liquidation);

- the election of the personal composition of the termination commission or liquidator (surname, first name, patronymic, date of birth, tax identification number, address of the commission (liquidator));

- the procedure and deadline for creditors to submit their claims;

- the adopted decision regarding the use of property and funds remaining after all necessary settlements for statutory or charitable purposes (according to the statute).

Documents must be submitted within three working days from the date of the decision.

If documents are submitted in person, the applicant must present an identity document as required by law.

Documents in paper form are submitted by the applicant either in person or by postal mail.

State registration is carried out in the absence of grounds for refusal no later than fifteen working days from the date of submission of documents.

To receive this service, you need to contact the Administrative Services Centers or the Khmelnytskyi Interregional Department of the Ministry of Justice of Ukraine.

In case of a decision to state register the termination of the trade union organization, an appropriate entry will be made in the Unified State Register of Legal Entities, Individual Entrepreneurs and Public Formations, as a result of which a state registration decision is issued.

In case of refusal to state register the termination decision, documents are returned (issued, sent by postal mail) to the applicant no later than the next working day from the day of receipt of the applicant's request for their return.

After eliminating the reasons that were the basis for refusal to state register the termination decision, the applicant may resubmit documents for state registration.
